Melbourne designer, Virginia Bul Martin, has launched her own label and consequently own store in the iconic Curtin House.

The label is literally adorable. A bit of a play on Gorman and Arrabella Ramsay with a slice of edge, but not too much.

I have an invite to the VRC Young Members Ball at the Crown Palladium this weekend. I got the ticket as a 'reward' through work at the last minute. Dress Code? 1920's inspired Black Tie.

Could a dress code be any harder to decipher?!

Anywho-- these are my options below. I am going for a more classy 1920's look, given the black tie aspect thrown in! I don't love the whole flapper thing, I find it a bit tarty for want of a better word.

A new era...

I just quit my job! How very exciting and scary and slighlty upsetting all at the same time.... I have been offered a position as a Buyers Assistant-- which is exactly what I want to do!
